Jackson makes his choice official

Dante Jackson had planned to hold his official announcement on Thursday, but word has leaked today that Jackson has indeed made his official commitment to Xavier University. Jackson, who has been the top wing target for the Muskies this year, made his official commitment to Xavier Coach Sean Miller on Sunday night.
"It's XU," Jackson informed Musketeerscoop.com. The main the reason that he chose Xavier is due to loyalty. The Muskies were the first school to offer Jackson. That offer came during his freshman season.

Currently rated number 148 by Rivalshoops.com, he is expected to see his stock go up do to a very strong July.
Jackson will come to Xavier and play both the shooting guard and small forward position. He will be expected to battle time, and is currently under the impression that he will not redshirt during his freshman season.
Jackson has averaged nearly a double-double in both his sophomore and junior seasons. He helped lead his team to success that has not been seen in quite some time. Jackson is also a state champion hurdler.
Musketeerscoop.com will have full coverage of his press conference at McClain High School at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
